Just as we were beginning to think Nintendo’s forgotten about its upcoming console – having kept quiet about it since E3 – a newly confirmed Nintendo Direct presentation will focus entirely on the Wii U later this week.

To be hosted by Nintendo of Europe’s president on this coming Thursday, Satoru Shibata promises to give us a ‘closer look’ at the Wii U ahead of its holiday season launch, so expect to hear the console’s full line-up of launch titles, a release date, and perhaps even a rough price range – although NoE now leaves the pricing of its products to retailers, due to EU laws.
